Red Dress Day

Red Dress Day started in 2010. Inspired by the exhibition by Jamie Black of lone red dresses at the University of Winnipeg, the dresses symbolized the many indigenous women who have lost their lives to violence.
Now, people all across the country come together to support the families of our missing and murdered indigenous loved ones by wearing red or hanging red dresses.
Who: We invite all to join us
When: May 5
What: bring your drum, your voices and your red dresses
You're also encouraged to wear red
